About us

Alverthorpe Grange Nursery was set up out of my passion for child development in the early years. As an experienced Early Years and Primary School Teacher, I am very aware of how vital the first 5 years of a child’s life are and what a difference they can make to their life chances. My co-director is a graduate in Education, Culture and Childhood and shares this passion.

When we stumbled upon Alverthorpe Grange, the building just felt right. We set up Alverthorpe Grange Nursery with the aim of using our experience and passion to provide a local, family run day nursery that offered a family, home from home feel for children within our community.
