Early Years Foundation Stage.

The Early Years Foundation Stage framework sets out welfare and developmental goals for children five years and under. The EYFS is the starting point for all aspects of the care that we provide in our nursery.

At Alverthorpe Grange we deliver the EYFS in a way that is individual to each of our little learners ensuring that by the time they leave us to attend school, they are confident and ready to begin their new adventure.

We respect each child’s individual needs and likes and nurture their growing independence.

We encourage our children to identify and develop their passions and celebrate their talents whatever they might be.

We provide a diverse and exciting environment and work with our children’s natural enthusiasm and curiosity to develop them as a whole person.
